Why “dry manicure” matters
You will notice our extension services specify a dry manicure. This is not a detail to skip. In a traditional wet manicure, nails are soaked in water first — which makes the nail plate swell. Product applied to a swollen nail lifts as soon as the nail returns to its normal size, which is the number one cause of extensions popping off after a few days.
A dry manicure preps the cuticle and nail plate without soaking. It takes more skill and gives dramatically better retention. If a salon soaks your fingers before applying extensions, that is a genuine technique problem, not a preference.
The removal problem
Most nail damage does not come from wearing extensions. It comes from taking them off. Two things ruin nails:

Aftercare that keeps extensions on
