The difference in plain terms
A lash lift and tint (from NPR 2,500) uses a gentle solution to reshape your natural lashes into a curl, held against a silicone shield, then darkens them with tint. Nothing is added — your lashes simply stand up and look longer because they are no longer pointing forward.
Eyelash extensions attach individual synthetic lashes to individual natural lashes with medical-grade adhesive, one at a time. Length, curl, thickness and volume are all chosen. It is an entirely different look and an entirely different commitment.

Choose a lash lift if…
- You have reasonable natural lash length but they point straight forward or downward.
- You want to wake up ready without thinking about it for two months.

The limitation is honest: a lift cannot give you lashes you do not have. If your natural lashes are very short or sparse, a lift will improve them but will not transform them.

Which set? Classic is one extension per natural lash — the most natural, best if your own lashes are already dense. Volume is a handmade fan of several ultra-fine extensions on one natural lash — fullest, best for sparse lashes. Do either of them damage your lashes?
Done properly, no. Done badly, both can.
Extensions damage lashes in two ways: weight and stickies. An extension too long or too thick for the natural lash that carries it will pull that lash out early, and an extension glued across two or three natural lashes at once — a “stickie” — tugs every time they grow at different rates. Both are technician errors, not inherent to the treatment. A properly weighted, properly isolated set shed naturally with your own lash cycle and leave nothing behind.
Lash lifts damage lashes when the solution is left on too long or repeated too often. Over-processed lashes go brittle and frizzy. The fix is simple: leave at least six weeks between lifts, and use a technician who times the solution to your lash thickness rather than running one timer for everyone.
Both need a patch test if you have sensitive eyes or have reacted to adhesive or tint before — 24 to 48 hours ahead, always.
Can you combine them?
Not at the same time. Extensions need a straight, clean natural lash to bond to; a lifted lash has a curl and a treated surface, so retention suffers badly. If you have had a lift, wait until it has grown out — usually six to eight weeks — before booking extensions. Going the other way, remove extensions professionally and give the lashes a couple of weeks before lifting.
What does pair beautifully with either is brow lamination from NPR 2,500 or a brow shape and wax from NPR 500. Lifted lashes with unruly brows look unfinished; the two treatments take about the same time and are usually booked together.
Aftercare, briefly
Lash lift: keep them dry for 24 hours, no rubbing, no mascara or eye makeup for the first day. After that, live normally — that is the point of a lift.
